Langkawi Island Trip Day 1

I was waiting for this moment!!

Langkawi Trip!!!

We took AirAsia, as usual....

I know there is no flight meal served for free, but I like enjoying on board.
So at least I wanna try something.
I found this instant cup chicken cream soup, imported from UK.
It is 8rm. I asked for this and a C.A just poured hot water and stirred.

It was delicious and filled my stomach. 

The flight hour is 1 hour, from KL to Langkawi. 
Langkawi Airport is apparently an International one. After you arrived there, you take stairs to get off and walk to the terminal building.
Look at this sign board. If you know Japanese language, you notice...

Sometimes, we can see funny Japanese outside of Japan.

After we went out from the gate, there are some rental car or tours booths. So We decided to rent a car.
Since it was not a holiday season, the price was not expensive.

Local brand car Viva: 120rm
Local brand car Myvi: 140rm

 You can also take Nissan or Toyota.
Anyway we took Myvi and I asked for another discount, and it became 130rm.(Lucky) Probably since it was Friday night, they just wanted to sell all out so that they gave us a good price and you can try negotiation.

 So I just filled in the form and also put 50rm as a deposit. 
Hoooooo!!! Berjaya!!

 We headed to our Hotel.
It's just 5-7 mins from the airport. A very good location.

 After that, as this was in the plan list, we went to TOMATO, a mamak shop.
It's in Pantai Cenang Area.
I wanted to take a photo of outside but it was too dark.



 We had Chicken tikka (Tandori chicken without bones)
It was really amazing! Usually I don't eat chicken but it was really delicious and just nice spice.

And boneless is very good for me :D






 
And of course, my boyfriend had the signature dish from Tomato, Cheese naan. Actually it was more expensive than one from other shops but the cheese was really thick and cheesy. It seems they use Philadelphia cheese as well so that it made the cheese naan even more delicious. 

I had Roti Susu ( a thin Malay bread inside with condensed milk) I love thissss <3


After that, we drove around the city and it was 3rd time for me to visit Langkawi, but after 2 years, Pantai Cenang area has been changed a lot. Some new restaurants, bars and a shopping mall.

At this night, we went back to the hotel to rest well.

マレーシアで運転免許更新

マレーシアでの運転免許証が ちょうど有効期限が切れたので、更新に行ってきました。 Petaling JayaのJPJ に行ってきました。 最近免許証があたらしいデザインになったようで、今まで郵便局で更新できていたけど、外国人＋新しいカードに書き換えるためか郵便局では拒否されました。 仕方なく、JPJへ。。。。 Google Mapで検索しても場所が見つからなく、JPJのサイトを見るとJalan Sultanと。 んー。。よくわからん。 Googleで検索してDirectionをクリックすると、Google Mapが出てきたのですが、 「何？こんな芝生の中にあんの？？！」 とりあえず、Mapにしたがって、道なりに歩いて、Jalan Timurまで。 でも、どう見ても芝生の真ん中に建物なんてないんですけどー！！ Jalan Timurを下り、気がつけば通り過ぎている。 Hmmmm.... で、気がつけば☆マークのJalan Sultanに来てました。 でもJPJのサイトにはJalan Sultanと書いていたんよねーと思いながら人に尋ねようと、、、っていうかこのエリア車運転しなさそうな、学生ばっかりなんですけどー。。。 よく分からんので、Lorong Sultanに入り、働いてる世代のローカルの人がMakanしていたので、聞いてみました。 「Jalan Produktivitiに上がってそのまま真っ直ぐ行って駅の方だよ！」 ハーッ！！駅から来たんですけどー！！と、心の中に閉まっておきながら、、、「ありがとう」 すごい納得がいかず、仕方なしトボトボ駅の方向へ向かいました。 それから、新聞売ってるおっちゃんに出会い、念のため。 「JPJはあっち？？」 「そうそう、まっすぐ行って、そのまま左行って！」 それから2分くらい歩いて、そのまま道なりに左に入ると大きな駐車場が。 駐車場といっても広い空き地が駐車スペースになっていて、肝心の建物どれや。。？とりあえず、奥へ奥へ進む。じゃ右方向にちっこい建物が。。。 「え？これなんや！しかもめっちゃ 駅前 やん！！」 中に入るとわんさか人が！！！ 旧正月前の連休に更新しとこって人が多いのかな。 入り口の受付で...

【マレーシア アストラゼネカワクチン】コロナワクチンさっそく接種しました！

最後に更新したのが2015年の2月。 この存在を忘れていましたが歴史に残るくらいのイベントなので書き留めようと思います。 マレーシアでアストラゼネカのワクチン接種しました！ まずはなんで今回このような機会がMina Tequilaに回って来たか。 マレーシアでは医療従事者でもなく、フロントライナーでもなく、在宅ワークをしている身です。が、しかし、このチャンスは急に訪れました。 日本ではアストラゼネカのワクチンは未承認と聞いていますが、当初マレーシアでも評判は良くなかったようです。65歳以上の高齢者の為に取り寄せたけど様々な反発があったとか。それで老若男女、職業、国籍問わずマレーシア政府が ”Volunteer”として希望者を募ったようです。私の周りの外国人（欧米系）やマレーシア人の友人はさっそく登録していました。 5月3日正午12時オンライン登録開始 12時前から携帯の前にスタンバイ、開始と同時にサイトにアクセスし登録しようとしましたがアクセス殺到？システムエラー？でできませんでした。何回かトライするも全くダメ―!!12時20分頃サイトが正常に動き出して、速攻GET!! 希望の日を選択するだけ。時間は勝手に決められます。 登録完了したらこんな画面。 そうすると、そのうちMySejahtera（マレーシアのコロナ関連トラッキングアプリ）に更新され予約時間が設定されます。 そして当日。。。 当日は16:30の予定でしたが訳アリで15:30頃には会場入りしてました。 クアラルンプール市内にあるWorld Trade Center わかりやすいようにCovid 19 Vaccination Centerの看板が！ 早速、中に入るとお決まりのMySejahteraスキャンをして検温を。 そして中へ進むと、ワクチン会場への入り口が。 STATION①と②、スペシャルレーンに分かれています。 グループ①か②かは、MySejahteraの部分に予め設定され、表示されています。 係りの人がいるので、アプリの画面を見せたらどっちのレーンか案内してくれます。 ちなみにMina Tequilaは②でした。（どうでもいいけどｗ） そしてレーンをくぐったら、ワクチン会場の登録スキャン、検温、手の消毒をします。 完了したら、申込用紙が渡されるのでそこで記入します。 ※ペンと下敷きを持って行ってね...

Sri Lanka Trip: Troubles with Taxis 1. タクシーとトラブル 1 (日本語は下)

Earlier, I mentioned about Donation Fraud in Sri Lanka. Starting from this experience, my experience in Sri Lanka was miserable ... T.T (Maybe miserable is too much to say, but I still believe that orange bracelet brought us bad luck.) Now I would like to share some other experiences in Sri Lanka. 2. Three Wheeler  On the 2nd day in Sri Lanka, Kandy. We requested a Three Wheeler at a hotel reception to go to the city. It was 300Rps to go to the city, as our hotel was a bit far from the city, it took us to get there for 20mins by three wheeler. At the end of the day; we tried to get a three wheeler at the same point as we got off in the morning. One three wheeler stopped in front of us and asked us to get in. We told him our hotel name and showed him the hotel address, but he did not know where the place was. He asked around with other three wheeler drivers and finally he got where.
