Afternoon tea/ High tea

Since you are in Malaysia, you should try "High tea" "Afternoon tea" . When you hear High tea or Afternoon te a , you would image of this. From Wikipedia Actually there are differences between Afternoon tea and High tea . What is afternoon tea? It's a tea habit originated from Britain, which is eaten at afternoon 3-5pm but it is not only to enjoy drinking tea and eating snacks but also for socializing and you need knowledge about dishes, flowers, interiors, manners. It is a similar concept as Japanese tea ceremony. In old Britain, it was an entertainment for high-class people. For afternoon tea, usually they have tea(of course), sandwiches, scones, cookies, cupcakes... and so on. Why do they eat sandwiches for tea time? Some of you might have thought why they eat sandwiches for tea time. This is related to their cultures. In Europe, they like to go to opera, classical concerts or ballet dance concerts and they usually start at 6 or 7pm

Of course as in my profile.... what I like is to EAT! I have tried many kinds of cuisines in my life such as... Japanese , Chinese, Korean, Asian, Italian, French, Spanish, Turkish, Mediterranean, Mexican, Brazilian.... whatever... Anyway, my boyfriend is from Peru, South America... I know there are a few Peruvian restaurants in my area but since I have never had a chance, I did not try Peruvian food. I did not have any ideas about Peruvian cuisine.. Maybe, lots of beans, corns, potatoes..... the taste should be very simple... I and my boyfriend found a Peruvian restaurant in Mt.Kiara, KL. OK, let me tell you the result.... Peruvian food is really awesome, amazing, addictive.  They have rich taste.. not simple at all.... They like fusion. Ceviche and Choritos I am not sure if the Ceviche and Choritos are fusion of Japanese sashimi or Italian Carpacho. They use row fish/ seafood marinated with lemon and Peruvian herbs.
